What are you working on?
I work on our spatial sensing technology, particularly in the object detection, autonomous navigation and sensor integration.
Which aspects of your role do you enjoy the most?
Working with the team solving real-world problems with an innovative solution. I really enjoy working on the different challenges both in hardware and software, particularly on the innovative technology parts of our system. Most of the time you work in something brand new which requires a lot of experimentation.
Which skills do you need for your role?
So you need a good understanding of software and hardware, software development skills. You need a good understanding of embedded system for driver integration and as well on the high level a good understanding of the user experience, UI design and tailoring our UI for sector specific customer needs.

The culture at Visionary Machines is quite dynamic, innovative, fast paced, creative and quite flexible.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Outside of Visionary Machines I’m a bit of a gamer. I enjoy snorkelling quite a lot, so I’m looking forward to the summer.
